Used radial drilling machines

We offer a wide range of used radial drills - models with different reach, capacity and functions to suit varying production needs. One example is the Arboga ER-830 model, which is available with automatic feed, 35 mm drilling capacity and 1,060 mm projection. Our used machines are checked, we help with valuation and trade-in, which makes your change to a radial drill as smooth as possible.

Tips for your radial drill purchase

When investing in a radial drilling machine, consider the following aspects to find the right machine for your production:

  • Reach and overhang - the larger the workpiece, the greater the reach the machine needs.
  • Drilling capacity and spindle configuration - make sure that the machine can handle the diameter and depth you are drilling.
  • Feeding and control systems - automatic feeding or manual handling depending on the production set-up.
  • Stability and precision - the machine's column, arm and fixtures should provide good stability, especially for large workpieces.
  • Second-hand vs new - For used machines: check the service history, wear parts and the possibility of test driving. Erlandsson & Hjorth has a large stock of second-hand machines and can help you with valuation and resale.
